Computing Hub updates:

 

All computing CPD is now fully-funded for state-maintained schools in England. Subsidies are available for eligible schools, schools can find out more at https://teachcomputing.org/funding.

 

Computing Hubs are offering school level support for all state-maintained schools within the region, with subsidies available for schools looking to start offering GCSE Computer Science. School level support can include curriculum development and review, action planning, needs analysis or support with the Computing Quality Framework. To request school level support, please get in touch with your local Computing Hub.

 

Physical computing kits have been refreshed over the Summer (2023) and all Computing Hubs now have the following equipment available for loaning: 

  • Beebots
  • Crumble controllers 
  • Micro:bits
  • Primary robotics kit
  • Secondary robotics kits
  • Data loggers
  • Raspberry Pi Pico
  • Raspberry Pi 3B+
