Register your ECTs & Mentors for our ECF Induction
You can register your ECTs & Mentors at any time, but ideally as soon as possible after recruiting, please follow these two steps:
1. Register with the DfE
Follow this link to register your ECTs & Mentors with the DfE. If requested, please select the Full Induction Programme and if requested, TeachFirst. If you cannot access via this link, or have any queries in relation to the portal then please email: continuing-professional-development@digital.education.gov.uk
2. Register with Embrace
Follow this link to register your ECTs & Mentors with Embrace.
It is crucial that your ECT is also registered with an Appropriate Body, such as ourselves. To make it simple, should you choose the Embrace AB Service, you can register for both services at once when completing this form. The fees for the Appropriate Body Service, for ECTs who are registered with the Embrace Full Induction Programme, are £150 per year, or £50 per term for shorter contracts. ECF Info Blasts
At certain times we run Info Blasts, lasting 30 minutes for any schools wishing to find out more about the requirements of the Early Career Framework and what their responsibilities are when recruiting an ECT.
